Dr. Sang Hoon Park – Seoul

Dr. Sang Hoon Park is a Korean Plastic Surgeon practicing in Seoul, South Korea. In 1995 he performed the first orthognatic cosmetic procedure in South Korea, becoming a pioneer in the field of facial bone contouring surgery. In 2004 he founded his own plastic surgery clinic, laying the foundation for what today is known as ID Hospital in Seoul: a 16-floors building with the characteristics of a hospital which focuses solely on cosmetic procedures and specializing in cranio-facial and maxillofacial surgeries.

Due to his expertise in cosmetic cranio-facial and maxillofacial surgeries, over the years Dr. Sang Hoon Park has attended many conferences  to present his work. He published several research papers on renown medical journals as well as medical textbooks covering the field of facial bone contouring surgery.

Dr. Sang Hoon Park invented what is known as V-Line Surgery and has performed it on thousands of patients. He also developed the “surgery-first” technique, which improves the outcome and shortens both the recovery time of surgery and the time needed to achieve the final results by 1-2 years.

He has been interviewed both domestically and internationally by newspapers such as The New York Times and The Washington Post. ID Hospital and Dr. Sang Hoon Park have been chosen by Popular Korean TV Show “Let me in” to perform cosmetic surgical makeovers on show participants for several seasons.
